QUICKTRONIC T8 High Efficiency, (QHE) ballasts typically save about 2-5 watts per ballast compared to standard T8 ballasts while providing the same light output. The second important feature of the system is the OCTRON XPS T8 lamp which provides 11% higher initial and 17% higher maintained lumens than standard 700 series T8 lamps. The XPS lamps also provides over twice the lamp life which drastically reduces maintenance costs. XPS lamps have a Color Rendering Index of 85 and are available in 4 color temperatures (3000K, 3500K, 4100K and 5000K).
